Hi everyone! Well, I have been following everyone elses blogs for so long, and it has been so great to watch everyone's families grow, and see what everyone has been up to these days, so I finally decided to hop on the wagon!
Now, to fill everyone in...
John and I have been married a little over a year now. Unfortunately John has been working down in the bay area now for a little over a little over a year...so until he gets transfered home, Im pretty much a weekend wife. We have had a little more time together this summer though, although it wasn't in the best of circumstances. In August John had to have a major surgery on his kidney, leaving him (us) in the hospital for over a week, and leaving him off work for 2 months! He finally goes back to work next monday...which is good for our pockets, but not so much for my heart. It has been so nice having him home with me every day..it's going to be extremely hard for me to let him go again. We decided to take advantage of his time off and took a little trip up to dads house in Washington, which was great! It's always so peaceful and relaxing up there...there is no better place to recover!
Although Im not looking forward to John being gone again, I am definitely starting to get excited for winter! The holidays are by far my favorite time of the year, and I can almost smell Thanksgiving coming!
